AI automation
AI chatbots, WhatsApp and booking that answer every enquiry in seconds
Your best salesperson never sleeps. We set up the chat, WhatsApp and text replies that answer, qualify and book your leads the moment they arrive, even at 2am, and hand them to a person when it matters.
Crisolva sets up AI chatbots, WhatsApp and text flows, missed-call text-back and automated booking for B2B companies and service businesses in the US and UK. Every bot says it’s AI, hands over to a person when it should, and logs each lead in your CRM. Setup starts at $200, and a full lead response system costs $900.

Why leads go cold
Why do so many enquiries go cold before anyone replies?
Most businesses don’t lose these leads to a better competitor. They lose them to the wait.
Enquiries after hours
A visitor asks a question at 9pm. The reply goes out on Monday morning, after they’ve booked someone else.
Missed calls nobody returns
You’re with a client, the phone rings out and the caller doesn’t leave a voicemail. They ring the next name on the list.
Forms that sit in an inbox
The form arrives in a shared inbox that nobody owns, so nobody replies while the buyer is still interested.
Bots that trap people
A badly built bot loops the same three options and never offers a person. People leave, and remember it.
Choosing the channel
Should your first reply go by WhatsApp, text or web chat?
Use the channel your customers already use. In the UK, almost every online adult has WhatsApp. In the US, about a third of adults do, so a text message usually reaches more people.
90%
of UK online adults used WhatsApp in May 2025, and 74% used it every day.

32%
of US adults say they use WhatsApp, in a survey of 5,022 adults from February to June 2025.

7×
Companies that replied within an hour were nearly seven times as likely to qualify a lead as those that replied an hour later.

| Channel | Best for | US | UK | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Web chat | Questions from people already on your website | Yes | Yes | Must say it’s AI and offer a person |
| Bookings, confirmations and follow-ups with customers who message you | Second choice | First choice | Opt-in needed; after 24 hours, only approved templates; per-message fees | |
| Text (SMS) | Fast replies and reminders on any phone | First choice | Backup | US numbers need A2P 10DLC registration first |
| Missed-call text-back | Calls you couldn’t answer | By text | By text, with a WhatsApp link | WhatsApp needs the customer’s opt-in, so the first message goes by text |

What we build
What does an AI automation agency build for you?
Six pieces of one system. Every one answers from content you’ve approved and logs the lead in your CRM.
AI website chatbot
Answers visitors’ questions from your approved services, prices and FAQs, collects their details and books them in. It says it’s AI in its first message.
You get: Answers at 2am you’d be happy to send yourself.
WhatsApp flows
Booking confirmations, reminders and follow-ups on the official WhatsApp Business Platform, with opt-in collected and templates set up for anything sent after 24 hours.
You get: The channel UK customers already check first.
Missed-call text-back
When a call goes unanswered, the caller gets a text straight away: “Sorry we missed you, want to book a time?” with a link to your calendar, and in the UK a link to carry on over WhatsApp.
You get: Missed calls turned into booked appointments.
Automated booking & reminders
Times pulled from your real calendar, bookings confirmed straight away, and reminders sent before every appointment.
You get: No phone tag to agree a time.
Qualification & human handoff
The bot asks the questions you’d ask, then hands the conversation to a person, with the full transcript, when it should.
You get: Your team steps in only when it matters.
CRM & calendar connection
Every conversation lands in your CRM with its source, so follow-up and reporting happen in one place.
You get: One record per lead, wherever it started.

Illustration: a WhatsApp flow qualifying a lead with quick-reply buttons.
Illustration: a booking confirmed from a text conversation.
Every bot says it’s AI and offers a person. That’s a design rule, not an option.
How it works
What happens to every enquiry, from the first message?
The same five steps, whether the enquiry starts on your website, as a missed call or on WhatsApp.
01Instantly
A reply
The bot answers straight away and says it’s an AI assistant.
02Next
Qualified
It asks your questions: what they need, where they are, how soon.
03Then
Booked
It offers real times from your calendar and confirms the slot.
04If needed
Handed over
A person takes over, with the full transcript, whenever a handoff rule is met.
05Always
Logged
The lead lands in your CRM with its source, ready for follow-up.
The bot never pretends to be a person, and never books a time that isn’t free in your calendar.
Guardrails
What will the bot do, and what will it never do?
We write these rules down before anything is built, and you approve them.
The bot will…
- Say it’s an AI assistant in its first message
- Answer only from content you’ve approved
- Offer a person at any point
- Book only real slots from your calendar
- Log every conversation in your CRM
The bot will never…
- Invent prices, discounts or promises
- Give medical, legal or financial advice
- Argue with a complaint
- Keep someone in a loop after two failed answers
- Message anyone who hasn’t opted in
A person takes over when…
- They ask for a person
- It’s a complaint
- The question is outside approved answers
- It’s a high-value enquiry
- Two answers didn’t help
The rules
What rules apply to AI chatbots and WhatsApp in 2026?
Three of them changed since July 2025. We build to all of them, and the audit tells you which apply to you.
| Rule | Applies to | What it means | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| WhatsApp AI policy | Businesses on the WhatsApp Business Platform, since 15 January 2026 | General-purpose AI assistants are banned. Bots that serve your own customers, such as support, bookings and updates, are allowed | TechCrunch |
| WhatsApp opt-in and escalation | Every business messaging people on WhatsApp | Message only people who gave you their number and permission, offer a clear route to a person, and honour opt-outs | WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy |
| WhatsApp pricing | Messages sent through the WhatsApp Business Platform, since 1 July 2025 | Charged per message. Replies within 24 hours of the customer’s last message are free; marketing templates are always charged | Meta |
| EU AI Act, Article 50 | Chatbots used with people in the EU, from 2 August 2026 | People must be told they’re talking to AI, at the latest at the first message, unless it’s obvious | AI Act guide |
| A2P 10DLC registration | Business texts to US numbers from a standard 10-digit number | Your brand and each texting campaign registered with US carriers before you send | HighLevel Help Center |
| UK data protection | Chats with people in the UK | Chat transcripts are personal data; the ICO’s AI guidance covers transparency and lawful use | ICO |
A plain-English summary, not legal advice. Every bot we build says it’s AI and offers a person, wherever your customers are.
How it runs
What happens after you request a lead response audit?
Five steps, following the same audit-first process as every Crisolva project. If automation won’t pay for itself in your business, the audit will say so.
01
Free lead response audit
Within 3–5 business days
You receiveHow fast you reply on each channel, and where enquiries wait or disappear.
02
Rules & answers approved
Before anything is built
You receiveThe questions, answers, handoff rules and AI disclosure, written down for you to approve, with a fixed price.
03
Build & test
Once you approve
You receiveFlows built in your accounts and tested, including the awkward questions and the handoffs.
04
Launch
When the tests pass
You receiveSwitched on, with your team shown how handoffs reach them.
05
Tune & report
Monthly, on AI Care
You receiveTranscripts reviewed, answers improved, and the after-hours report.
Your side: access to your website, calendar and CRM (they stay in your name), the answers you’re happy for the bot to give about your services, prices and hours, and someone to pick up handoffs.
Reporting
What should an AI lead response report show?
Whether the system is recovering leads you’d otherwise have lost, counted in your CRM.
On page one
- Leads after hours vs business hours
- Time to first reply
- Bookings made by the bot
- Conversations handed to a person
- Questions it couldn’t answer
Available, never the headline
- Total chats
- Messages sent
- Bot “accuracy” scores
The questions it couldn’t answer are the most useful line. Each one becomes an approved answer next month.

- How many channels
- How many answers to approve
- Which calendar and CRM
- US text registration or WhatsApp setup
What you don’t pay for
- The lead response audit
- Extras you didn’t approve: anything more is quoted first
- Access to your own accounts, numbers and conversations
Fit
Is AI lead response right for your business?
A good fit if you…
- Get enquiries after hours or miss calls during the day
- Pay for ads and want every click answered
- Can approve the bot’s answers and pick up handoffs
- Want every lead logged in a CRM, not a spreadsheet
If the right-hand column describes you, say so. We’d rather point you to the right fix than sell you a bot.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions about AI automation
What does an AI automation agency do?
It sets up the systems that answer, qualify and book your enquiries automatically: AI chatbots, WhatsApp and text flows, missed-call text-back and booking. Unlike software vendors that hand you a tool, an agency writes the flows, connects them to your calendar and CRM, and keeps them up to date. Crisolva does this for B2B companies and service businesses in the US and UK.
How much does an AI chatbot cost for a small business?
Crisolva charges $400 to set up an AI website chatbot, $200 for missed-call text-back, $500 for a WhatsApp or text booking flow and $900 for all three, and AI Care costs $150 a month. Platform fees are extra and paid by you. Published agency prices start at around $1,500 or £1,500 for setup plus $99 to $397 a month (Get Me Automated, Softomate).
What do we pay the platforms on top?
It depends on the tool. Examples read on 22 October 2026: HighLevel’s AI Employee costs $50 or $97 a month per sub-account on top of a plan from $97 a month; Tidio’s Lyro AI agent starts at $32.50 a month; Intercom’s Fin starts at $0.99 per outcome; and WhatsApp charges per message, with replies inside the 24-hour window free. We recommend the tool after the audit, in your name.
Do AI chatbots actually increase leads?
They catch enquiries that would otherwise wait: questions asked after hours, calls nobody could answer and forms that sit in an inbox. Speed matters: in a Harvard Business Review study, companies that replied within an hour were nearly seven times as likely to qualify a lead as those that replied an hour later. The report shows how many leads came in after hours, so you can judge it on your own numbers.
Should we use WhatsApp or text messages?
Use the channel your customers already use. Ofcom found that 90% of UK online adults used WhatsApp in May 2025, so in the UK WhatsApp usually comes first. Pew found that 32% of US adults use WhatsApp, so in the US text messages usually come first. Web chat works in both.
Can we still use an AI chatbot on WhatsApp in 2026?
Yes, for your own customers. Since 15 January 2026, WhatsApp’s business terms ban general-purpose AI assistants whose main job is the AI itself. Bots that serve a business’s own customers, such as support, bookings and order updates, are still allowed.
Will the chatbot tell people it’s AI?
Yes, in its first message, on every bot we build. For chatbots used with people in the EU it has been a legal requirement since 2 August 2026, under Article 50 of the AI Act; everywhere else it’s simply honest. People can ask for a person at any point.
When does a person take over?
When someone asks for a person, makes a complaint, asks something outside the answers you’ve approved, sends a high-value enquiry, or gets two answers that didn’t help. The handoff reaches your team with the full transcript, so nobody has to repeat themselves.
How does missed-call text-back work?
When a call goes unanswered, the caller gets a text within seconds with a link to book a time from your real calendar; in the UK it can include a link to carry on over WhatsApp. You get an alert, and the lead is logged in your CRM. The first message goes by text because WhatsApp needs the customer’s opt-in, and in the US business texting needs A2P 10DLC registration first.
What do you need from us?
Access to your website, calendar and CRM (they stay in your name), the answers you’re happy for the bot to give about your services, prices and hours, and someone to pick up handoffs. We write the rules and answers with you, and you approve them before anything goes live.
Which platforms do you build on?
Established platforms in your own accounts: the official WhatsApp Business Platform, your calendar, your CRM, such as HubSpot or GoHighLevel, and a chatbot tool that fits your budget. We recommend the tool after the audit rather than locking you into software of our own.
Who owns the bot, the number and the conversations?
You do. Everything is built in your accounts and in your name, including the phone number, the WhatsApp account and the chat history. There’s no agency lock-in: if you move on, it all stays with you.
Does this connect to our CRM and ads?
What does AI Care include?
A monthly review of transcripts, answers updated when your prices, services or hours change, handoff rules tuned, and the monthly report, for $150 a month. Bigger changes, such as adding a channel, are quoted and approved first.
